This is one of those books you find stuck to your hand while curled up on a couch in the middle of the night, knowing you should be going to bed, but there's no way to stop reading. The plot keeps you going, but more than that, you relate to it. In this story it's about domination and who wins, but more that that there are psychological undertones that relate to everyone, that is, dependence and how we get hooked to all kinds of things. And, it deals with the motivations of the people who want us to get addicted. While the book uses the internet as the prime example for this theme, the ideas in this book could be generalized to anything we get addicted to.

I ask myself how Cass Tell started with such a simple idea and developed it into something that was so compelling. One can't help but applaud this author's imagination. A great read with some ideas that demand further discussion.
